A non-responsive radio remote control does not automatically mean the transmitter has failed. Check the battery, key or enable device, emergency stop, pairing status, channel settings, receiver supply, antenna, output relays and the crane safety chain in a controlled sequence.
If the receiver acknowledges a command but no motion occurs, the cause may lie in limits, contactors, drives, brakes or safety circuits. Record receiver indicators, displayed faults and the exact command that fails. Compare operation with any approved alternative control station where the system design permits.
Safety circuits must not be bypassed and emergency-stop functions must not be defeated. Spare-transmitter pairing and receiver configuration should follow the manufacturer procedure and be function-tested before return to service.
